- Annual reorganization and appointments: Pete Simmons was nominated and approved as Council President; Mayor Cheney presented and reappointed members to the 2026 City Council Committee appointments (Finance, Housing, Streets, Parks, Personnel, Utilities).
- Resolution 2025-12.1: Approved appointment of officials (motion by Dan Zieg; passed).
- Resolution 2025.12-3: Approved a 6% salary increase for all city employees effective Jan. 1, 2026. Councilmember Dan Zieg moved and Jesse Schmidt seconded; roll-call vote recorded yes from Buck, Schmidt, Simmons and Zieg.
- Closed session: Council voted to go into closed session at 8:11 p.m. to discuss litigation and returned to open session at 8:36 p.m.; no public details of the litigation were recorded in the minutes.
