Beaver Crossing board approves trial of Superzyme for lift station grease control; maintenance also discusses generator

Following a motion by Jere Leif and a second from Chairman Jerry Zieg, the board approved a trial of Superzyme by roll call vote (5-0). Maintenance Supervisor Steve Brackhan also recommended the board consider installing a generator at the north well to ensure continuous operation during outages; the board did not take an immediate motion on the generator but recorded the suggestion for future consideration.
The trial authorization directs maintenance to evaluate Superzyme's effectiveness and report back. No long-term procurement or contract was finalized at the Jan. 8 meeting.
