At its Jan. 8 regular meeting the Beaver Crossing Village Board voted unanimously to appoint Butch Wing as a member of the village Planning Commission. The motion to appoint Wing was made by Jere Leif and seconded by Kaely Eberspacher and carried by a 5-0 roll call vote.
The board also considered a demolition permit (1-25) submitted by M. Banks for property at 607 Detroit St. Jere Leif moved to approve the permit, Ray Foreman seconded, and the motion carried by a 5-0 roll call vote.
Board members discussed the Tower Ordinance and noted that an individual identified as Heater asked that the Planning Commission review the ordinance at its next meeting. No ordinance changes or formal zoning actions were adopted at the Jan. 8 meeting; the minutes show the Tower Ordinance will be reviewed at the Planning Commission level before any board action.
