Deborah Bader of Mount Vernon asked the board to ensure plan‑to‑plan and strategic planning committee meetings are publicly posted so that community members who are closely following the process can attend. “I would like to attend,” Bader said, and she asked that meeting notices be made available.
Diane Chick, also of Mount Vernon, sought clarity on procurement steps: she asked whether an RFP (request for proposals) had been issued to potential consultants and renewed the call to provide consultants with RSU 3A consolidation information so they understand local context. “I’m just looking for a little understanding…whether an RFP needs to be issued… and if that has been done yet,” Chick said.
