Roxbury selectmen raise ACO pay to minimum wage and approve retroactive payroll correction

Matthew Patneaude moved to adjust the ACO's payroll to minimum wage; Ray Hodsdon seconded and the motion passed 2-0. The minutes record concerns that dispatch has been sending dog-complaint calls to the ACO and that deputies sometimes respond; the board said it would see whether the ACO's backup is willing to be appointed deputy ACO.
Separately, the board approved a payroll correction after discovering one person’s pay rate had not been adjusted for minimum wage; the correction was made retroactive to May 18, 2022 (motion by Matthew Patneaude, second by Ray Hodsdon, vote 2-0). The minutes do not specify dollar amounts for the ACO adjustment or the correction.
