The Bernards Township Planning Board on June 16, 2026 voted to deem an amended preliminary and final site plan application (PB26-E2) for Amsac Basking Ridge LLC (Block 11301 Lots 1.01 and 1.02; 180–181 Mountain View Boulevard) complete for hearing.
Attorney Michael Castori, appearing for the applicant, identified himself and said he was present to answer questions. The board noted it had received a board-planner memo and a June 15, 2026 follow-up confirming that all items required for a completeness determination under section 21-51 of the Land Development Ordinance had been submitted. The planner confirmed the follow-up memo and the board voted to deem the application complete.
Board members and the applicant discussed scheduling for the public hearing. Because many members expect to be unavailable for early July meetings, both parties discussed an August hearing; the applicant and board suggested August 18, 2026 as a likely date if quorum issues are resolved.
The board's completeness determination allows the application to be scheduled for substantive review; any technical comments or substantive public testimony will be taken at the public hearing once a date is confirmed.
