Chisago City approves triennial Pay Equity Report required by Minnesota law

City Administrator John Pechman told the council that Chisago City is required under Minnesota Statutes § 471.998 to submit a Pay Equity Report to the Minnesota Department of Management and Budget every three years. The report prepared from the city's 2021 compensation study was provided to council for review and a preliminary review indicated compliance.
Council member Mark Anderson moved to approve the Pay Equity Report; Council member Marie Rivers seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The approval allows staff to submit the report as required by state law.
