Chisago City Council voted Feb. 24 to select Revize as the city’s new website provider following staff review of four municipal vendors: Revize, CivicPlus, Catalis (the incumbent, formerly GovOffice) and Granicus.
Associate Planner Leah Nelson said staff prioritized affordability, an intuitive content-management system for non-technical staff, and preparing for anticipated ADA accessibility requirements expected by March 2027. Staff provided a comparison table of strengths and weaknesses for each vendor and recommended Revize as the best balance of affordability and ease of use.
Council member Craig Meyer moved to select Revize; Council member Nikki Battles seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Staff will proceed with contracting and the implementation timeline and report back on key milestones and ADA compliance progress.
Next steps: finalize contract terms with Revize, set an implementation schedule, and begin content migration and accessibility work.
