Chisago City Council on Jan. 13, 2026, adopted updates to the city's annual fee schedule as Chapter 180, Ordinance 336. Administrator John Pechman told the council staff had reviewed the schedule and proposed a limited set of adjustments, principally affecting Ojiketa facility rental fees and water and sewer charges, and adding fees for commercial zoning reviews and a 21-day food truck permit in line with state guidelines.
The council opened a public hearing on the proposed ordinance; no members of the public spoke. After closing the hearing, Council member Craig Meyer moved to approve Ordinance 336 and Council member Marie Rivers seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Ordinance 336 updates municipal fees to reflect current costs and to establish a short-term food truck permitting option consistent with Minnesota guidance. The ordinance will take effect according to the city's ordinance-adoption rules.
