The project would sit on Lot 1, Block 1 of Liberty Lane Shores 2. Council members did not vote on the subsidy itself on Feb. 24; they only authorized public notice and the hearing. The applicant’s Minnesota Investment Fund application had previously been discussed but was not advanced at an earlier hearing because the applicant was not prepared to proceed.
Next steps: the council will hear public comment and staff presentations at the March 24 meeting before taking any formal action on the subsidy or abatement.
