Council members moved and seconded the adoption as stated by the solicitor and recorded roll-call votes: Mr. Spaniac, Miss Karns, Mr. Marvin, Mr. McInness, Mr. Travis, Mr. Flynn and Miss Shimone each voted "Yes." The ordinance also updates section 10433 (time-limited parking at certain locations) and section 10447 (parking meter zones established) to reflect staff-recommended changes.
The solicitor said the ordinance was advertised in the Daily Local News on June 8 and made available for public inspection beginning May 26. No public testimony opposing the ordinance was raised during the hearing.
The ordinance took effect per the standard administrative schedule and will be enforced by borough parking/code staff; council did not amend the language during the vote. The council did not indicate any follow-up studies or phased implementation in the meeting record.
