RSU 23 board unanimously approves minutes, 2018–19 calendar and interlocal agreement

The RSU 23 school board on March 15 approved several routine items by unanimous votes: acceptance of the January 25, 2018 meeting minutes; adoption of the district's 2018–19 school calendar; and approval of the Southern Maine Regional Service Center Interlocal Agreement.
Stu Hogan moved to accept the January 25 minutes; Christopher LaSalle seconded, and the motion was approved unanimously. Later, Christopher LaSalle moved to approve the 2018–19 calendar; Stu Hogan seconded and the board voted unanimously to adopt it. Stu Hogan then moved to approve the Southern Maine Regional Service Center Interlocal Agreement, a motion seconded by Christopher LaSalle; that motion also passed unanimously.
Board members made no changes during the meeting to the calendar as presented. The board then adjourned at 6:35 p.m. on a motion by Christopher LaSalle, seconded by Stu Hogan, which likewise passed unanimously.
The board's finance report at the meeting noted ongoing budget work and a public budget presentation scheduled for April 10; Chair David Boudreau said the board hopes to present a budget with a 0% increase to the town, though no budget vote occurred at this meeting.
