The group asked the board to expedite final approval so they could honor reservations.
Rettew Associates and representatives from East Lampeter Sewer Authority inspected the property and were preparing a list of documentation and items the campground must provide before the Authority can grant final approval to connect to the sewer system. Solicitor Susan P. Peipher told the board that an addendum to the Intermunicipal Agreement between PTSA and ELSA must be executed by both authorities and signed by the owners; the Agreement cannot be finalized until the engineers from PTSA and ELSA review and confirm the documentation.
Board members and staff discussed inspection observations and the necessary next steps; the minutes record the owners’ request for expedited handling but do not show a final decision or timetable for approval. The item remains contingent on engineers’ certification and execution of the intermunicipal addendum.
The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for May 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
