Kaitlyn Jones appointed to Paradise Township Sewer Authority; board officers reorganized

The appointment was moved by J.B. Stoltzfus and seconded by Brian Groff; the motion carried unanimously. The Board then approved officer assignments: Kaitlyn Jones was named Secretary; J.B. Stoltzfus was named Vice Chairman; Dave Bowman was named Assistant Secretary/Assistant Treasurer; Bryan Stoltzfus remained Chairman and Brian Groff remained Treasurer. Solicitor Susan P. Peipher reviewed board five-year term assignments and indicated Elmer Miller had been appointed to a term running January 2024 through December 2028.
Minutes record that the appointment and reorganization followed standard procedures to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Miller’s resignation. Kaitlyn Jones, described in the minutes as a new Township employee and Township resident, will take the unexpired term. The minutes do not show debate against the appointments; each motion carried 4–0.
The Board scheduled its next regular meeting for April 7, 2025.
