The presenter added the rebuilt structure will be a 50‑foot span required by bank‑full width calculations and that in‑water construction will be restricted to permitted seasonal windows to protect fish runs.
Officials told residents the road is expected to be closed about five months beginning in late June, with a contractor incentive for early completion and a latest construction completion date expected no later than Nov. 30. Board members said the new bridge will be full‑width to allow two vehicles to pass and will be wide enough for pedestrian passage, though it will not include a dedicated pedestrian or bicycle lane.
