Fox River Grove approves consent agenda and awards 2025 landscape maintenance contract to Apex Landscaping

Administrator Soderholm then presented the recommendation for the 2025 landscape maintenance contract. "The last bidding process for landscape maintenance was done in 2021," Soderholm told the board, noting that transitioning to a new contractor requires considerable staff involvement. The board discussed pricing structures and code‑enforcement compliance; members noted that the pricing submitted by Ringers would have increased costs to the village general fund under the current structure. Trustee Steve Knar moved to award the contract and Trustee Devin Hester seconded. The motion to authorize Administrator Soderholm to execute a contract with Apex Landscaping passed on a voice vote (Curtiss, Hester, Knar and Schladt voting "yes").
No other business was raised. Trustee Devin Hester moved to adjourn at 6:54 p.m.; Trustee Steve Knar seconded. A voice vote approved adjourning and the meeting ended.
