Mono County emergency managers report Pac Fire recovery steps; debris removal, vehicle removals planned

He noted the county is prioritizing properties for cleanup where owners have submitted plans, and that some work remains dependent on weather and logistical constraints.
Supervisors asked clarifying questions about which vehicle types the DMV will remove; Bouchard said he would follow up with details but noted the DMV was coordinating to take registered vehicles and trailers from affected properties. Board members thanked staff and Cal OES partners for moving the recovery process forward and acknowledged residents’ anxiety about the pace of recovery.
