The third case involved a common driveway bond at Sandpiper Point (Eklunds) taken in 2010; staff said David Eklund’s wife provided a California driver’s license and requested the $6,674.27 (including interest), and the commission approved the refund.
Later in the meeting the commission considered edits to the May 14 minutes, including clarifications about regional housing guidance timelines and corrections suggested by members; a motion to accept the minutes as amended was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Commissioners also encouraged residents to complete the Old Lyme zoning survey (public outreach) ahead of scheduled workshops on housing and commercial/industrial issues.
