Additional pricing included $14,246 to restripe the roadway as currently configured and $1,877 to stripe the community center and post office parking lots.
Trustees did not approve a contract at the May 4 meeting; they scheduled a special meeting for May 21 to continue discussion and finalize any work and funding decisions. The clerk also requested that the street engineer advise whether load limits should be considered for village streets.
The discussion noted both immediate work (localized pavement replacement) and the possibility that worn existing striping complicates new paint adhesion. The board directed follow-up to obtain engineer guidance and to revisit bids at the May 21 special meeting.
