The Crawford City Council voted to publicize the annual 12-month Treasurer reports for 2023 and 2024 and approved the meeting’s bills and claims on Jan. 28.
Interim Clerk/Treasurer Jeanie Daigger presented the 12-month reports and noted year-end balances. Council Member Brent Gebbie moved to publish the reports and the motion passed with Gebbie, Christopher Dean, Scott DeBock and April Grant voting in favor.
Jeanie also presented the December 2024 Treasurer report but councilors expressed confusion about profit-and-loss amounts. Council Member Gebbie moved on the item but no council member seconded the motion; the item was therefore tabled (Gebbie voted AYE; Dean, Grant and DeBock voted NAY).
Later in the meeting, Council approved bills, requisition orders and transfers (motion by DeBock, second by Grant) and adjourned at 7:28 p.m. The packet lists payroll and vendor payments totaling $106,367.90, with itemized line entries in the meeting materials.
Council asked staff to clarify the December profit-and-loss figures and return with corrected documentation at a future meeting.
