Council awards infiltration gallery contract to Mark Chrisman Trucking

The Crawford City Council on Jan. 14 approved awarding the infiltration gallery construction contract to Mark Chrisman Trucking based on a JEO recommendation.
Russ Goldman reported the city received five bids for the infiltration gallery project and recommended awarding the work to Mark Chrisman Trucking. He explained a proposed change to the discharge location to the White River would be implemented as a contract change order and should not alter the project price. Christopher Dean moved to approve the recommendation; April Grant seconded the motion, which passed with recorded ayes from Dean, Grant, Scott DeBock and Brent Gebbie.
Council and staff discussed timing and indicated work was expected to begin in April or May, pending contractor scheduling and final contract paperwork.
