Crawford council approves resolution to assess delinquent utility charges, several permits and maintenance agreements

The Crawford City Council adopted Resolution 2024-08 on Dec. 10 allowing delinquent water, sewer and use charges to be assessed against the property at 3571 Highway 20. The motion, made by Council Member Christopher Dean and seconded by April Grant, passed with three ayes (Dean, Grant, Storbeck) and one abstention (Brent Gebbie).
The council also approved a set of routine operational measures and permits by individual motions: establishing a 4-way stop at 2nd Street and Pine and purchasing related signs (motion by Brent Gebbie; Grant recused; vote: Gebbie, Storbeck, Dean — ayes), approving Murphy Tractor's estimate for the backhoe 2,000-hour service, authorizing a Transportation Department Christmas light bus tour for Dec. 18, and issuing two SDL permits at the Old Napa Building (Tailgate Bar and Grill for Dec. 20—21; a private birthday on Jan. 18—19). The council approved a Maintenance Agreement with NDOT for snow removal and authorized utility deposit refunds for Trevor Morava ($250) and Abby Dyer ($69.66).
Council Member Christopher Dean moved and April Grant seconded approval of bills, claims, requisitions, transfers and payroll as presented. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
