Garden City council approves multiple business licenses, holds one pending after licensing concern

The council voted to hold that application and later moved to deny pending verification to avoid potential liability from granting a business license to someone not currently licensed to practice.
Other approvals included Cloud Dream Homes (address verified within the required 15-minute limit), Hungry Bear (Endless Opportunities), Bear Lake Adventure Park, Square Donuts and Blue Horizon Grill. One applicant (New Haven Creative, DBA Fairway Creative Space LLC) described plans to host local artists and offer family t-shirt and craft stations; councilors voiced support and approved the license.
Council asked staff to follow up on conditional items and to confirm licensure where needed. The approvals were recorded by motion and voice vote.
