At its May 12 meeting the BET Budget Committee approved a slate of routine and interim items and recorded outcomes for several motions.
Key outcomes: - CD-1 (CDBG): Approved 4-0 to use $953,410.64 in CDBG funds for FY27 (requires public hearing). (SEG 011–016) - BOE-7 (CMS interim appropriation): Approved 4-0 for $6,000,000; FI-6 (bonding resolution) approved 4-0. (SEG 020–030) - BOE-8 (Havemeyer feasibility): Vote split 2-2; recommended NonRoutine (item not approved as a routine interim appropriation). (SEG 033–039) - PZ-1 (AHFT interim appropriation): Approved 4-0 for $400,000; returned ARPA funds to be applied to BOE HVAC capital projects per ARPA rules. (SEG 041–046) - CC-1 (DEEP Trees grant): Approved 4-0 for $49,536 to expand Byram tree canopy.
