Spurling said several in-progress developments hope to coordinate openings with the new temple open house and requested commissioners' help staffing an outreach open house scheduled for July 7 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. She also reported that the city’s wells are running all day and that, as a result, the splash pad will not open this year; she cautioned that this may not be a good year for landscaping projects because of water limitations.
