Applicant Antonio Jimenez was present and confirmed he understood the listed conditions of approval.
A neighbor, Brianna Daniels, spoke in support of Jimenez’s work but raised a privacy concern and asked whether a taller fence could be installed, saying she could clearly see into her backyard. Daniels suggested splitting any additional cost with the applicant. Planner Megan Spurling said a seven-foot fence may be installed without city approval, but an eight-foot fence would need to go before the City Council.
Planning Commissioner Desiree Funk moved to approve the conditional-use permit; Planning Commission Member Larry Smith seconded. The motion carried.
Next steps: the applicant will proceed with the zoning permit application and pay applicable impact fees; any request for an eight-foot fence would require City Council consideration.
