APG retirement services outlines programs and announces Retiree Appreciation Day Sept. 17

Tiffany Triplett, Retirement Services Officer at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), briefed the Harford County Veterans Commission on services available to retirees and encouraged county retirees to attend the APG monthly retiree meetings.
Triplett outlined her office’s mission to connect retirees with benefits counseling, transition resources and on‑post events. She announced that Retiree Appreciation Day is scheduled for Sept. 17; the week prior will include a golf tournament and a walk‑run on post. Triplett said the Retirement Services Office will circulate details soon and that she plans to attend future Veterans Commission meetings to coordinate outreach.
Commission members welcomed the participation and noted the overlap between APG retiree activities and county veteran services. Members asked that the Retirement Services Office provide materials for the Commission to share with local veteran service organizations and retirees.
