Orangeburg County Council approves four economic-development ordinances in unanimous votes

The council also approved two ordinances related to a company identified as Project Panther: a Fee-In-Lieu of Ad Valorem Taxes agreement (covering related or affiliated entities and sponsor affiliates) and a lease agreement for county property that includes an option to purchase. Councilman Kenneth McCaster moved both Project Panther ordinances; Councilwoman Deloris Frazier seconded, and each passed 7-0-0.
