During the meeting clerk/staff (S2) read claims including payments for the Public Employees Health Program, Brigham City Corporation (water sampling), a $70 food permit to the Fairway Health Department, Sunrise Engineering ($3,225) for engineering and transportation planning, Enbridge Gas and Verizon charges among others. After the claims were presented, S3 moved to approve the previous minutes as written; S6 seconded and the chair (S1) declared the motion carried.
Later the chair said the council needed to go into a closed meeting to discuss legal matters. S3 moved to enter a closed meeting on legal matters; the motion was seconded and approved. The council prepared to meet in closed session after approval of checks and handling the remaining agenda items.
