She told the council the program fee is about $1,500; council members approved a $150 donation to help her attend.
Applicant Shaylee Allred described plans to open a mixed new-and-used bookstore at 111 North Main Street, adjacent to Miller's Landing, with an emphasis on children’s programming and book clubs. Council approved the business license; staff said the state tax clearance remained to be finalized.
