Controller Tracy described the budget amendments: closing the Riley Bridal project and returning $20,000 to debt service; adding about $3,700 to complete the Park Lane storage tank project; and reallocating a $10,000 NYSERDA grant originally budgeted for a consultant to purchase and install heat pumps at the Memorial Park sign shop. The board authorized the controller to make the amendments by roll call vote.
The board also accepted a cooperative donation from the New York Rangers and Benjamin Moore to spackle and paint portions of the Hammocks Park Ice Rink (work scheduled roughly June 9–22). Board members estimated the value of labor and materials at between $80,000 and $90,000 and authorized the town administrator to execute related documents.
Finally, the board accepted a $600 donation from the Woman’s Club of the Town of Mamaroneck to support programs at the senior center.
All measures were approved by the board during the meeting.
What happens next: staff will implement the budget amendments, arrange logistics for the rink improvements and process the senior‑center donation.
