Project budget figures presented in the packet and read into the record included a construction manager guaranteed maximum price (GMP) reported at roughly $10 million, committed architect/design contracts and related costs that bring the current committed total to about $10,725,000, and grants that the presenter said bring available budget to $10,800,000; another speaker characterized the rough price point as "11.6 million." The presenter said the amendment clarifies roles and avoids duplication between the city, architect and construction manager.
A board member moved to approve amendment number one to the city's agreement with BKV Group for construction phase services in the amount of $229,855; the motion was seconded and carried on voice vote.
