Staff explained the report includes an executive summary, department-by-department core service statements, an organizational chart, and a restatement of the board’s goals for fiscal year 27. The document also includes planning elements such as five-year financial forecasting, internal cost-recovery approaches, and recommendations for annual review.
Commissioners thanked staff and department heads for the effort and supported adopting the final report as the inaugural county core-services statement. The commission moved to adopt the Crook County Core Services final report and voted in favor. Staff said the board will revisit the document yearly and update it as state law or board priorities change.
