Rasmus told the Board staff solicited three quotes: $27,985 from Scott's Heavy Truck and Trailer of Weston, Wisconsin; $28,658 from Monroe Equipment of Marshfield; and $30,031 from Phoenix Body Works LLC of Stratford. He said the cost will be paid from internal service fund 2026701 and that the upfit items — described in the memo as a flatbed, tool storage cabinet and pump — are essential to making the unit operational once it arrives.
A board member moved to approve, a second was offered, and the motion carried on voice vote.
The Board authorized staff to execute the purchase order to Scott's Heavy Truck and Trailer LLC. The board did not record a roll‑call vote or individual vote tallies in the transcript.
