Lisbon Board waives first reads and adopts multiple policy revisions, retracts two policies

Members of the Policy Committee summarized proposed revisions to a series of district policies. The Board unanimously waived first readings where noted and voted to approve the following as recorded in the minutes: Policy 5125.11 Health Medical Records, Policy 3160 S Budget Procedures and Line-Item Transfers, Policy Series 5000 Education Stability Procedures, Policy Series 6000 Promotion and Retention, and amendments to Policy Series 4000 Social Media.
The Board also voted unanimously to retract Policy 5123 Promotion/Acceleration/Retention and to retract Policy 4118.51/4218.51 Social Networking Sites following the committee's review.
Boardmembers voted to waive first readings before approving policies where the committee recommended doing so. The motions and votes for waiver and approval were recorded as unanimous in the minutes.
