The Lisbon Board of Education accepted the resignation of part-time social worker Ms. Ella Gil, who informed the Board she has taken full-time employment.
During a later executive session to discuss salary agreements, the Board voted unanimously to accept salary agreements including one for Director of Business and Operations Jonathan Paradis and agreements listed in the minutes as M. Rossi and M. Crandall. Motions and seconds for each acceptance were recorded and passed after the executive session.
On preschool tuition and related services, administration presented tuition rates and scenarios for related services. The Board adopted a motion that 1:1 adult support for preschool-aged children should be provided by the sending district; if the sending district cannot provide that support, the district will provide it but with a cost cap not to exceed $75,000.
Superintendent Sally Keating and Jonathan Paradis also updated the Board on hiring for the Lead Maintainer position, reporting that Mr. Chad Carpenter has been hired and summarizing his experience and qualifications.
