Ramirez said Republic Services will collect resident yard-waste bags during the seasonal period from April through November; Nancy Garcia will prepare a flyer and update the village website to inform residents.
Code Enforcement Nancy Garcia said courtesy notices for seasonal decorations began and inspections will continue as conditions allow. Trustee Loretta J. Teets flagged an ongoing refuse problem at a three-unit property on the 1600 block of 44th Avenue; the mayor directed Code Enforcement to contact the property owner to verify adequate waste containers. Trustee Sylvia Terrazas asked about a damaged rear fence at 1671 N. 40th Avenue; Code Enforcement said it will verify a police report and contact the owner to establish a repair schedule.
Trustee Teets moved to adjourn the meeting; Trustee Marco A. Gutierrez seconded and the motion passed with unanimous aye votes from trustees present. The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
