Mayor Beniamino Mazzulla told the committee the village-installed fire-alarm system at Casa Italia has been installed and successfully passed inspection, completing the improvements the lease required the Village to provide.
Mazzulla noted an invoice from Customized Protection Services, Inc. (Invoice #32846) for $16,800 was on the record; he said that with the successful inspection the Village’s lease-related obligations are complete. The Building Commissioner will prepare and issue a letter documenting the completion and confirming that future repairs and maintenance will be the tenant’s responsibility under the lease.
The minutes do not record a separate vote on acceptance of the work in these segments; the committee recorded the completion and the administrative step to document it in a letter to Casa Italia.
