The Woodstock Zoning Board of Appeals voted on June 11 to grant an area variance to Patricia Dillard (ZBA case 2608) to allow a 30‑foot intrusion into a required 50‑foot rear yard setback for construction of a detached deck and swim spa, conditional on compliance with town zoning and applicable laws.
The chair read the resolution and announced the vote: Judith Salado, Joseph Bell and Greg Goodro voted in favor; Martin Mills was absent and Howard did not vote. The chair said the signed resolution will be filed with the town clerk and copies provided to the building department so permit processing can proceed in accordance with the settlement conditions and applicable statutes.
Next steps: the town clerk will sign the resolution and the ZBA said it will email a copy to the applicant and send a hard copy to the building department for follow‑up on permitting.
