Legal counsel Jesse Gentry told commissioners the consolidated complaints (including 2026009131) involved an event that, based on participants’ prior professional status, should have required professional permits and gross-receipts filings. "The recommendation for this is to authorize formal charges for holding an unlicensed event without a permit with a settlement offer of $1,000," Gentry said. Commissioners voted by roll call to approve that settlement.
