Hoskins trustees approve liquor and catering licenses for The 108 Bar and Grill

The Village of Hoskins Board of Trustees approved a Class C liquor license and a Class K catering license for The 108 Bar and Grill, owned by applicant Brandi Sporleder, at a special meeting on Sept. 16, 2025.
The approval followed a public hearing whose notice had been posted Sept. 5, 2025, at the Hoskins Community Center, the United States Post Office, the entrance of Elkhorn Valley Bank, in the Norfolk Daily News and on hoskinsne.com. Trustees James Miller, Richard Doffin Jr. and Kris Thies were present; Sarah Kimmel and Tyler Classen were absent. Miller presided over the meeting.
Trustee Kris Thies moved to approve Sporleder’s application for the Class C liquor license and Class K catering license for The 108 Bar and Grill; Trustee Richard Doffin Jr. seconded. A roll call vote was recorded as “all yea” and the motion carried. The minutes show the vote passed with the three trustees present voting in favor; two trustees were absent.
Earlier in the meeting the trustees approved the minutes from the Sept. 3, 2025 meeting by motion of Trustee Richard Doffin Jr., seconded by Trustee Kris Thies, with a roll call vote recorded as all yea. The meeting adjourned at 12:10 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
