At the May 12 meeting the town manager reported notice from Lori Tibbitz and Bob Spear that the Denmark ATV Club is considering disbanding though it currently retains insurance coverage. The club still must complete maintenance work on two trails and confirm insurance transfer or continuing coverage.
Representatives from Lake Region ATV have indicated interest in assuming maintenance for the Pearly Mills to Jim Bob segment and will attend the board’s May 26 meeting to present a map and insurance details. Board members asked for a town ATV trail map and specific coverage information, and discussed the possibility that some private segments or easements could close if no club maintains them; that could change access to Lords Hill and other west‑side trails.
The manager said the board may need to formally adjust public‑easement status if clubs stop maintaining routes along public roads and advised notifying users before any change. No action was taken on May 12; the matter will return with maps and insurance documentation.
