Beech Grove board approves employment recommendations, handbooks and routine business

The Beech Grove City Schools board approved several routine business items including employment recommendations, the 2026–2027 administration handbook and the transportation handbook, minutes and claims for May and June, and a set of fundraising activities.
A motion to approve employment recommendations was moved and seconded and passed on an on-the-record voice vote. The board then moved to approve the two handbooks; that motion was also seconded and recorded as approved. Later in the meeting the board approved minutes and claims and the listed fundraisers, each by motion, second and unanimous “Aye” on the record.
Board members also shared community success stories: a positive library partnership presentation, a successful alumni association golf outing and steps taken to reduce delinquent adult-program accounts (roughly $60,000 applied to delinquent accounts, removing two from the ledger). Members noted ongoing community events and discussed RDC membership and Little League presentations.
The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn was moved and seconded and the board recorded the closing vote.
