Summary

At its June meeting the Swanzey Select Board approved the following motions and administrative actions:
- Authorized the Select Board chair to sign Eversource letters of acceptance for weatherization funding for Putnam (Wickham) Hall, Carpenter Home and Stratton library properties (motion approved by voice vote).
- Authorized DPW Director Joe Russo as the town's designated representative for several clean-water SRF projects, including North Winchester Street improvements, a comprehensive WWTF study and stormwater CIP (motion approved by voice vote).
- Awarded the 2026 EMS and ambulance services contract to Cheshire Emergency Services (they were the only bidder) and accepted the award.
- Accepted a donation from Sly Carazinski to the first responders non-restricted trust account.
- Approved transfer of title for a 2015 Ford Explorer to the purchaser, Dennis Grow, for $925.
- Accepted Ameritech's proposal for phone hardware and service for the new fire station (board approved up to roughly $2,800 in up-front costs with an ongoing carrier service fee), and discussed a town-wide phone RFP to be issued before the August contract expiration.
Each motion was recorded on the public record and approved by the board during the meeting; staff will manage contract execution and follow-up reporting.
