Councilmembers thanked Parks staff for vetting candidates and praised their qualifications.
Some councilmembers raised procedural concerns about the appointment process and requested better coordination between Parks and council district offices to ensure district engagement before confirmation. Despite those process concerns, members moved and seconded the slate and the clerk recorded a 4-0 vote in favor. The confirmations will be forwarded to the full council for final action.
