Golden Hills board approves MOU with parks district, $3,000 Honor Flight donation and places delinquent account on contract

The board also heard from Steven Miles and approved a $3,000 donation to Honor Flight Kern County on a motion by Director John Buckley, seconded by Director Matt Guggemos; the motion passed unanimously.
On a customer-relief request (account number 01-4810-01) asking that past-due late fees and accumulated tag fees be waived due to medical hardship, the board discussed removing tag fees but ultimately did not grant a full waiver; instead, the board placed the account on a contract (payment arrangement). The minutes do not list the contract terms.
The board approved the consent calendar items A–D on a motion by Director Matt Guggemos, seconded by Director Scott Wyatt; Director Buckley was recorded absent for that vote.
