Eagle trustees adopt resolution setting winter-quarter basis for water billing

The Village of Eagle Board of Trustees on April 7 adopted Resolution 2026-06, which affirms the municipal code’s billing method for water service and describes how rates will be calculated.

Under the adopted resolution, the board recorded that a sum of $4.00 shall be charged for each 1,000 gallons of water “based upon the average amount of water metered for the premises … per month during the preceding winter quarter (January, February, and March).” The resolution also states that if no established winter-quarter usage exists for a premises occupied by the current tenant, the board may set a flat monthly rate by resolution until a winter average can be established.
