Doris P. Gernovich moved to approve the Proposed Final Budget; Jason D. Halfast seconded the motion, which the board adopted by recorded vote with all members present voting yes. The board also approved checks, wire transfers and direct deposits covering April 24–May 13, 2026, after a separate motion by Amanda J. Cox and second by Doris P. Gernovich.
In a subsequent motion by Andrea L. Chelton, seconded by Amanda J. Cox, the board approved two direct deposits payable to J.H. Auto Parts Inc. (Direct Deposit D000163374 for $4,519.59 and D000163722 for $171.19). Directors Joseph A. Frisina and Jason D. Halfast abstained on that second vote; the rest of the board voted yes.
Business Manager Jennifer Cullers will place a legal advertisement and make the Approved Proposed Final Budget available for public review for 30 days, as required by district procedure. The board approved the Business Manager’s Report for April 2026 in a separate motion.
The board took the budget vote after routine finance motions and with no opposing votes recorded. The Adopted Proposed Final Budget will be accessible to the public for the required review period.
