The board also opened two paving bids. D&P Paving bid Reeves Road at $37,587 (402 tons) and Station Road at $60,588 (648 tons), pricing a ½-inch shim plus a 1-inch topping at $93.50 per ton. Hopkins Paving bid Reeves Road at $72,000 (720 tons) and Station Road at $57,000 (570 tons) at $100.00 per ton for the same treatment.
Terrie moved that the town pave Reeves Road only at this time; Edward Nevells seconded. The board approved proceeding with Reeves Road and asked Chris to solicit two contractor bids specifically for repairing Station Road. The board tabled the Station Road decision until the next meeting.
