Thermalito board adopts Meter Reader job description and pay scale after bargaining group approval

The Thermalito Water and Sewer District board unanimously approved an amendment to the employee handbook at its May 19 meeting to adopt a Meter Reader job description and pay scale that the bargaining group has approved.
Manager Boucher reminded the board that the Meter Reader job description and pay scale had been approved initially at the March 2026 board meeting; he said the bargaining group met and conferred and approved the new job description and pay scale. Director Koch moved to accept the handbook amendment; President Clark seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
No additional changes to wages or classifications were proposed at the meeting and staff did not raise any outstanding questions. The amendment will be reflected in the employee handbook.
